Fit Diaries : Is 24 Hour Fasting Good For Weight Loss?

This is the before part of my 24 hour transformation. Logging in at 87.7kg. Excited to see what the near future holds for me!

In all seriousness, this higher-than-normal fast will just be a chance for me to test out a couple of things.

  1. What difference a bit of water loss can make to the system.
  2. What my mood will at the end of the fast. Will I be ready to break, frothing, hallucinating chicken breasts with legs?
  3. How many waves of hunger will I need to hurdle to get there. I’m guessing there will be three, and I’ve been through two already as of 2PM.
  4. What will my morning session be like tomorrow. Given that it will be more than 30 hours into the fast, it’s going to be interesting to see if I have any strength left. Maybe the sceptics will be right. I’ll be truthful on how it goes.
