Carnivore is the ultimate diet for fans of minimalism. You’ve got a half dozen ingredients to play with, at best, and each of those ingredients are so dense in nutrients, and so easy to digest, that you’ll be delegating very little time to the business of eating. There’s very little effort for the numerous rewards you’re about to reap across the apex lifestyle.
But for those who consider laziness an art, we can go one better. That’s the combination of brisket, one of the healthiest cuts of beef, and the slow cooker, which should be everyone’s countertop staple.
Brisket is stacked in collagen, delicious fat, along with all the amino acids necessary to get you jacked. If there was one cut of beef you had to have every meal for the rest of your life, it should be brisket.
The problem is, the meat can be quite tough, and takes a lot of chopping if you’re not savvy enough to keep your knives sharp. As a second, because it’s tough, it can also be chewy, and that can be an issue when you’re trying to blaze through your meals.
Fortunately there’s an aforementioned solution here, which would be to slow cook your brisket so it demands no chopping and falls deferentially off the fork. There’s no need for sauces or spices or anything snazzy, everything you require for slow cooked brisket is already in the brisket.
It’s just about getting the time right, so that you get the texture just right. Too short, and it’s still raw. Whereas if you keep it on for the whole night, like I used to do, it’s going to be painfully dry.
Which is why it would be well worth getting a slow cooker with a timer, or get an adapter that comes with one. Then you’ll be on your way to receiving your first batch of brisket that will hopefully last you the rest of your life.

Equipment
- Slow Cooker
- Plug-In Timer Use this only if you don't have a timer setting on your slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 1 kg Brisket It doesn't have to be 1kg, just whatever you get out of one pack.
Instructions
- Chuck said brisket in the slow cooker
- Set the temperature to low
- Set time to 6 hours
- Serve when ready

No water needed, there’s plenty of juice in the brisket.

6 hours would be better, I’ll need it edit that because I think my slow cooker is a little too efficient.
